PSY 570 - Advanced Cognitive Assessment Description: Advanced development in cognitive assessment, including for culturally and linguistically diverse students and students evaluated for special education will be undertaken. Students will gain skill in understanding the implications of and presentation of assessment results. Permission of department.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: PSY 564 with a grade of C or higher and admission to the school psychology program.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Distinguish assessment techniques and procedures for children with special needs, including appropriate selection of tests.
- Implement appropriate procedures for test administration, scoring, and interpretation for nonverbal tests.
- Formulate recommendations from data from assessments.
- Evaluate cases and present assessment results orally.
