Upon successful completion of this course, the student/teacher candidate will be able to:

Assess their own intercultural development, cultural responsiveness, and world view.
Analyze the culture of their teaching community, school, and classrooms using a research-based framework for culturally responsive teaching.
Apply gained cultural knowledge to plan appropriate changes to their learning environment design, instructional practices, and assessments practices to better respect and integrate students’ cultures.
