Description:
Study and practice of creating costumes and related accessories, and makeup techniques for realistic and classic productions found at the secondary and college levels. Presented in a workshop intensive setting. Presented in a workshop intensive setting. May be repeated up to 6 credits if content changes.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Demonstrate the application of the various costume techniques and processes using a variety of materials.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of fashion periods used in theatre productions.
Demonstrate appropriate make up techniques for use in theatre and film.
Critically analyze personal work and the work of peers as it relates to individual students local situations.
