Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Analyze and evaluate primary texts relating to theory and practices of drama from the Renaissance, seventeenth century, or eighteenth century in Europe, Asia, and/or the Americas.
- Analyze and evaluate current scholarship relating to theory and practices of drama from the Renaissance, seventeenth century, or eighteenth century in Europe, Asia, and/or the Americas.
- Create and present a conference-length paper reflecting a research topic relating to theory and practices of drama from the Renaissance, seventeenth century, or eighteenth century in Europe, Asia, and/or the Americas.
- Lead seminar style discussions.
