PRIM 511 - Primate Conservation Description: A seminar that focuses on conservation issues of particular relevance for non-human primates, including deforestation, bushmeat hunting, and pet trade; conservation strategies, including reintroduction, captive management, and ecotourism. ANTH 411 and PRIM 511 are cross-listed courses; students may not receive credit for both.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify conservation issues impacting nonhuman primates.
- Demonstrate knowledge of general conservation biology.
- Develop expertise on one conservation issue selected by the student.
- Develop presentation and speaking skills.
