GEOG 401 - Advanced Topics in Regional Geography (Put on reserve 9/16/17) Description: Detailed examination of selected topics in regional geography. Topics will vary; consult with instructor. May be repeated up to 6 credits. (Put on reserve 9/16/17. Will go inactive 8/24/2020.)
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: 300-level regional geography course in area of course emphasis or permission of instructor.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify and describe physical and human features of places.
- Identify and interpret the events and processes that shape historical and contemporary development of places and landscapes at local and regional scales.
- Analyze historical or contemporary issues and themes in regional geography as they apply to specific places.
