TH 335 - Movement for the Actor Description: The study and practice of various movement disciplines, such as Laban, Suziki, Feldenkrais, Chekhov, Lessac, or Alexander, to enhance flexibility and expressiveness of the actor’s body in a variety of performance applications. May be repeated if content or title changes for up to 9 credits.
Prerequisites: Prerequisites: TH 144 or TH 244.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify and implement a vocabulary used for the Suzuki Method.
- Demonstrate correct techniques used for each exercise learned.
- Memorize & perform automatically each exercise learned.
- Develop confidence in the movement potential of the actors’ body.
- Develop physicalized acting skills.
- Develop awareness of personal physical strengths & weaknesses.
