HIST 434 - American Indian History to 1795

Description:
Discussion and lecture on Native North American history from 1492 to the founding of the American Republic, and an introduction to the discipline and practice of ethnohistory, which combines traditional historical analysis with ethnographic concepts and research methodologies. HIST 434 and HIST 534 are layered courses; students may not receive credit for both.
