Philosophy Minor

Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Degrees Offered (Majors, Minors)

The philosophy minor provides students with the skills to read difficult texts, analyze problems, formulate arguments, and defend original theses in writing. Students get a solid grasp of some of the major philosophers, movements, and topics of philosophical debate. The philosophy minor can complement any major by inviting students to consider questions that are foundational to their discipline.

Department-Approved Electives Credits: 19-20
