Design and Technology Specialization

Design and technology students take a solid core of classes and participate in a wide range of production opportunities in pursuit of the bachelor’s degree. These majors rapidly become the backbone of the program – producing sets, costumes, properties, sound and lighting which make the theatre visually exciting. Audition/interview into this specialization occurs at the end of the student’s first year at Central.

Students interested in pursuing additional career enhancing course work as general electives, yet related to their specialization, should choose additional course work from the following broad catagories. For a wellrounded educational experience, no more than four courses should be selected from any individual category.
