Design and Technology Specialization

Design and technology students take a solid core of classes and participate in a wide range of production opportunities in pursuit of the bachelor’s degree. These majors rapidly become the backbone of the program – producing sets, costumes, properties, sound and lighting which make the theatre visually exciting. Audition/interview into this specialization occurs at the end of the student’s first year at Central.

Choose any of the following for a total of 3 credits: Advanced Design Component - Credits: 4
Choose from the following for a total of 4 credits: Electives for Enhanced Tech/Design Specialization
Students interested in pursuing additional career enhancing course work as general electives, yet related to their specialization, should choose additional course work from the following broad catagories. For a wellrounded educational experience, no more than four courses should be selected from any individual category. Career Planning Component
