Applicants for the B.A.S.-ITAM must meet the following admission requirements before admittance to the program:
Completion of one of the information technology related degrees from a community college or technical college in Washington.
Completion of 20 credits of the CWU “Basic Skills Requirements” (English, math, logic, and computing) or University equivalents or community/technical college equivalents. A minimum overall GPA of 2.3 in the information technology related degree is required. A foreign language is not required.
Completion of 2,000 hours of recent, documented work experience in an information technology related job as approved by the department chair or designee.
Identification of a clearly articulated academic and/or career goal in pursuing the program and approved by the department chair or designee.
BAS-ITAM Graduation Requirements
Students in the B.A.S.-ITAM program must meet the following requirements for graduation:
Completion of 40 credits of approved information technology related courses in the associate degree with a minimum overall GPA of 2.3.
Completion of 60 credits of upper-division courses.
Completion of CWU “Breadth Requirements.”
Completion of the following courses with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.3 in the ITAM coursework and a minimum grade of “C-” in each course:
