Master of Science Degree Information
The student shall complete at least 45 credits as outlined in an approved course of study filed with the office of Graduate Studies, Research, and Continuing Education. The course of study is structured in consultation with the student’s academic advisor, and is approved by the department graduate program director. The course of study will include required courses totaling 17 credits in addition to advisor approved electives depending on the degree program and specialization. Additionally, no undergraduate courses will count toward the completion of the Master of Science degree nor be included on the official course of study. Further, no more than two workshop credits with a maximum of six credits of graduate research, or one internship with a maximum of six credits can be included on the course of study. Conditional or probationary admission may be granted to applicants not meeting all of the admission criteria.
