Description:
Study of contemporary issues in accounting. Subjects may include systems and controls, analytics, forensic, tax, or any other relevant and current topic.

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Admission to the Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) program.

Credits: (5) Contact Hours: 5

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Discuss and explain the accounting topics covered in the course.
  • Prepare projects, client documents, and/or tax returns for the topics covered in the course.
