AGB 420 - Agribusiness Entrepreneurship and Innovation Description: Students develop, pitch, and defend an innovation to drive growth in the food/agriculture industry. Ideas will involve strategy/approaches not currently in use in the ag/food industry and designed to solve real problems and/or generate growth. AGB 420 and ENTP 420 are cross-listed courses; students may not receive credit for both.
Prerequisites: Prerequisites: AGB 361, ENTP 300, and (ACCT 251 OR ACCT 301); Pre/Co-Req: AGB 330.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Examine an initial ag/food product, or service concept and determine initial feasibility
- Organize the information needed to create a well-defined prototype, including the innovation driver that differentiates the product
- Conduct research and develop a well-defined ag/food product or venture prototype
- Complete consumer research and refine the ag/food product or venture prototype ready for the phase of the product development process
