AGB 330 - Agri-Food Systems Innovations


Description:
Students will learn about transformative agri-food systems innovations: digital, financial, social protection, and policy innovations, and innovations anchored in specific agri-food value chain stages from production through supply chain intermediaries to consumer-level health and nutrition.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Demonstrate understanding of innovations that help build sustainable, equitable, and inclusive food value chains.
  • Analyze integrated solutions that turn agri-food systems into healthy, equitable, resilient, and sustainable systems.
  • Propose socio-technical innovations (e.g., digital innovations, policy innovations, supply chain innovations, health and nutrition innovations) in the agri-food systems.
  • Assess the transformative co-created agri-food systems innovations by the agri-food value chain actors.
