AGB 391 - Data-Driven Agribusiness Problem Solving


Description:
In this workshop, students will integrate their programming and data skills and applications in agribusiness decision making. The course focuses on problem-solving and actionable analytics in agribusiness. 

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: completion of all Applied Agribusiness Technology minor/certificate required courses (AGB 310 and (BIOL 213 or BUS 221 or LAJ 400 or MATH 211 or MATH 314 or MIS 320 or PSY 362 or SOC 364) and (BUAN 406 or BUAN 407 or MIS 460).

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Apply programming and data skills to find creative solutions to specific agribusiness challenges
  • Analyze vast amounts of data to make better agribusiness decisions
  • Propose and assess data-based solutions to specific agricultural and food issues
