COM 485 - Senior Seminar Description: A research project leading to a thesis.
Prerequisites: Prerequisites: admittance to a communication major and either COM 451 or COM 455.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- describe the discipline of communication;
- analyze relationships between theory and communication processes;
- provide solutions to communication problems using theory and research;
- select appropriate methodology to conduct research in communication;
- apply communication theories to various contexts and areas beyond academic settings;
- practice communication prowess developed through the Communication program; and
- demonstrate conscious and critical communication through innovative interpretations and analyses of communication theories and processes.
