Prerequisites: admittance to a communication major and either COM 451 or COM 455.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

describe the discipline of communication;
analyze relationships between theory and communication processes;
provide solutions to communication problems using theory and research;
select appropriate methodology to conduct research in communication;
apply communication theories to various contexts and areas beyond academic settings;
practice communication prowess developed through the Communication program; and
demonstrate conscious and critical communication through innovative interpretations and analyses of communication theories and processes.
