ASP 510 - Current Issues of Accessibility and Disability Description: Seminar on current issues of accessibility and disability. May be repeated for credit. ASP 410 and ASP 510 are layered courses.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: graduate standing.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Critique issues of accessibility in current news, cultural events, and personal experience.
- Analyze real world events as the context affecting individuals with activity-limiting conditions using the World Health Organization Classifications of Factors of Disability.
- Synthesize multiple sources of information on a current event or cultural trend regarding disability-related beliefs and behavior in content and reporting.
- Demonstrate skills of leading and engaging in thoughtful discussion.
- Synthesize divergent views in a succinct summary.
- Reflect on changes in perspective and knowledge.
