  • Evaluate the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) and apply the ACTFL standards to American Sign Language (ASL) instruction.
  • Compare and contrast current theories of second-language acquisition teaching
  • Develop various language teaching methods necessary for student success
