Description:
Combines basic principles of corporate finance with industry-based analytical tools to solve common financial management problems related to capital budgeting, capital structure and dividend policy, risk-return tradeoff and valuations.

Prerequisite: FIN 475 with C or higher.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Apply appropriate tools to perform financial analysis and investment valuation.
Construct spreadsheet models to analyze the impact of financial decisions related to capital budgeting, capital structure and dividend policy, and securities and option valuation
Explain the impact of changes on different aspects of the financial analysis through quantitative and graphical presentations.
Improve their familiarity and knowledge with financial data analysis through various model-building exercises.
