ELEF 324 - Educational Technology for Elementary Classrooms


Description:
Concepts and resources related to appropriate and effective integration of technology and media in elementary school settings. 

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: full admission to the Teacher Certification Program.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Implement current education technology standards to enhance student learning and develop critical thinking skills
  • Implement current education technology standards to model and teach digital citizenship. 
  • Implement current education technology standards to inform instruction and make other educational decisions
  • Develop, analyze, and evaluate lessons that create a product using technology to solve problems and collaborate with others. 
  • Develop, analyze, and evaluate lessons through field experience that demonstrate the safe, legal, and responsible use of technology
