EDBL 492 - Practicum

Description:
This course will provide students with experience working in bilingual education and/or English as a second language settings. Students may accumulate no more than 15 hours of practicum credit. May be repeated up to 15 credits. Grade will either be S or U.

Prerequisites:
Prerequisites: Completed or concurrently enrolled in the following EDBL 430 and EDBL 438 and EDBL 439 and EDBL 440.

Credits: (1-15)

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Schedule and perform required hours in an assigned school setting
Prepare and perform research-based activities with EL students
Critically reflect on teaching experience with students
