EMS 360 - EMS Anatomy and Physiology I Description: The first quarter of a two-quarter study that introduces fundamental human anatomy and physiology. It establishes concepts and foundational human form and function from the cellular perspective to the fully developed organism.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: enrolled in the EMS major or permission.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify anatomical structures associated with human organ systems.
- Summarize the mechanical, physical, cellular, and biochemical functions of human organ systems
- Predict how human physiology is altered by disease, medications, and treatment to diagnosis, assess, and evaluate patients.
- Evaluate anatomy and physiology to human form and function.
