ATM 251 - Style Principles: Body to Store Description: Theory and practice of merchandise presentation from store windows and displays to merchandising on the body. Application of principles and elements of design and concept development to execution for a variety of mediums. Course will be offered every year (Spring).

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Define and apply the principles and elements of design
- Identify components of visual displays
- Identify advertising components of display
- Complete balanced aesthetically pleasing visual display
- Define components of client styling
- Identify sectors within styling industry
- Analyze client body shape, size and fit
- Identify the creative and strategic nature of visual merchandising of the store and body
- Identify individual style personality so clothing choices are successful
- Execute photoshoot using components of styling
- Use terminology correctly
- Practice and improve communication, writing, and presentation skills in relation to working with clients
