PEID 150 - Archery

Description:
This course teaches the fundamentals of safe archery practice and basics of the archery equipment. Course may be repeated up to 12 times for a maximum of 12 credits starting Spring 2016. Past repetitions will remain as coded.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Identify the Eleven Steps to Archery Success.
Identify the different parts of the bow and arrow and field targets.
Demonstrate the techniques that represent the Eleven Steps to Archery Success.
Create a log book related to this activity.
Identify the purpose and meaning of the 4 whistle command.
Incorporate safe archery skills for a lifetime.
