SPAN 381 - Hispanic and U.S. Latino Literatures and Cultures (Put on reserve 9/16/19) Description: This course examines Spanish American and U.S. Latino poetry, short story, drama, film, a novel, and essays. Lectures and discussions conducted in Spanish; most readings are in Spanish. Course will not have an established scheduling pattern. (Put on reserve 9/16/19, will go inactive 8/24/22)
Prerequisites: Prerequisites: SPAN 341 or SPAN 345, and SPAN 301, or by permission.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Analyze literary movements, genres, and authors
- Apply analytical methods for writing essays on literature and/or authors
- Synthesize research findings in a literary area
- Examine Latino Literature and Cultures
