PEF 150 - Beginning Yoga Description: Participation in stretching and then holding a variety of yoga postures. Will include demonstrations, benefits, contraindications, precautions of each posture. Course may be repeated up to 12 times for a maximum of 12 credits starting Spring 2016. Past repetitions will remain as coded.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Competently perform basic traditional yoga postures.
- Identify individual modifications of beginning yoga postures.
- Apply the theoretical knowledge of correct alignment and techniques of more basic yoga postures.
