MUS 374 - Music History 3 Description: A study of music history. The third of a three-quarter sequence.
Prerequisites: Prerequisites: MUS 245 and MUS 373.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify the different types of music available during the Late Romantic and Modern time periods, either by music score or listening example.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the different musical forms and genres of the Late Romantic and Modern time periods, how they evolved, and their relationship within the culture and society of the time.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the primary composers of the Late Romantic and Modern time periods time period.
- Write in a scholarly manner about various styles of music.
