EDBL 438 - Teaching English as a Second Language Description: Prepares teachers in the development and practice of research-based methods and techniques used to assist K-12 English Language Learners in acquiring academic English. Course will be offered every year (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer).

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Apply appropriate methodologies and applications.
- Apply appropriate teaching strategies and skills.
- Assist ESL students in integrating into mainstream school setting.
- Apply fundamental theories and principals upon which effective practices are based.
