BIOL 492 - Laboratory Experience in Teaching Biological Sciences


Description:
Experience in planning, managing, and teaching in a laboratory setting. May be repeated up to 4 credits. By permission of department.

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: combined cumulative GPA of 2.5.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Plan laboratory activities following a procedures guide.
  • Manage supplies associated with laboratory activities.
  • Present background material to learners involved in laboratory activities.
  • Guide group learning activities within a laboratory setting.
