Description:
Developing discipline-based art education curriculum for the elementary and middle school, as well as preparing curriculum to teach Friday children’s art classes.

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: ART 330 and current WSP/FBI fingerprint clearance.

Identify and apply concepts and methods of teaching a discipline-based art education unit for elementary school
Propose concepts and methods of teaching a discipline-based art education unit for middle school
Compare and contrast elementary and middle school art instruction, curriculum, and development
Categorize methods of teaching and learning styles
