PUBH 692 - Field Experience in Public Health Description: Practicum experiences include significant field-based or research projects, community outreach and education, teaching or other related activities under the guidance of the student’s academic advisor. May be repeated up to 6 credits. Grade will either be S or U. Permission of department. Course will not have an established scheduling pattern.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Apply interprofessional communication and teamwork skills with a variety of stakeholders
- Summarize public health concepts relevant to his or her fieldwork experience
- Appraise public health decisions made in field settings (such as clinics, government agencies, community organizations, policy/advocacy groups and others)
