PSY 588 - Advanced Statistics II Description: Advanced topics in multivariate statistics, including latent variable analyses and the use of statistical software packages in psychological science. Course will not have an established scheduling pattern.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: PSY 363.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Differentiate between univariate and multivariate statistical tests
- Summarize and present to student colleagues one of the multivariate analyses selected for this course.
- Screen data and evaluate its appropriateness for inclusion in multivariate statistical analyses.
- Propose, test, and modify (if necessary) a structural equation model.
- Propose, test, and interpret latent variable models using statistical software for data science.
- Evaluate the decision-making process when latent variable models are tested and modified.
