IT 677 - Operations and Physical Security
Description:
This course addresses operational and physical cybersecurity issues. Key topics will include faculty security, resource protection, and management of cybersecurity incidents.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: IT 647.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Conduct an audit of an organization’s information systems with a focus on cybersecurity controls.
- Create management plans that address known cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
- Recommend controls necessary to mitigate cybersecurity attacks.
- Prepare a cybersecurity incident management and response plan.
