Description:
Administration of intellectual assessment instruments-early childhood through adult. Variables affecting test performance, interpretation, and report writing are emphasized.

Prerequisite: admission to the school psychology program.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Administer and interpret a variety of instruments and procedures for assessing intellectual functioning.
Demonstrate knowledge of psychometric properties, purposes, utility, and acceptability of instruments and procedures for assessing intellectual functioning.
Demonstrate knowledge of the ethical and legal requirements of intellectual assessment.
Integrate assessment information into a comprehensive and professionally written report.
