GEOL 504 - Graduate Seminar Series

Description:
Research seminar series comprising the Geological Sciences weekly seminar series. Includes discussion with speaker following seminar. May be repeated for a total of 12 credits. Grade will either be S or U.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Understand the manner in which research in a variety of fields is conducted and how results are interpreted within known contextual information.
  • Discuss with the seminar speaker and the Geological Sciences faculty any questions or comments they have with the research results presented in the seminar.
