Research seminar series comprising the Geological Sciences weekly seminar series. Includes discussion with speaker following seminar. May be repeated for a total of 12 credits. Grade will either be S or U.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Understand the manner in which research in a variety of fields is conducted and how results are interpreted within known contextual information.
Discuss with the seminar speaker and the Geological Sciences faculty any questions or comments they have with the research results presented in the seminar.
