RTE 339 - RTE: Enterprise Development Description: This course focuses on the Business Plan as a necessary component to beginning a small business in the fields of Recreation, Tourism and/or Events. It addresses facets of the business plan from determining actual content, reviewing examples to creating a comprehensive plan. Course will be offered on even numbered years. Course will not have an established scheduling pattern.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify different organizational structures used in RTE.
- Describe the components of a business plan.
- Critique the business plans of several other start-up ventures in RTE
- Create a formal business plan for an RTE Enterprise
