FILM 440 - Production IV Description: A study of methods used in the conceptualization, design, and production of non-broadcast films. Consideration of management needs and training requirements. Formerly COM 440; students may not receive credit for both. Course will be offered every year. Course will not have an established scheduling pattern.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: FILM 380 and admission to the film major.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Prepare a business proposal for client-based film production.
- Differentiate between different types of client-based film productions.
- Solicit and manage a client-based film production.
- Evaluate client-based films created in class and offer a critical analysis.
