Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Articulate the purpose of coaching and explain the coaching cycle as it relates to mentoring a beginning teacher.
- Develop a coaching plan for implementation in the classroom.
- Demonstrate the skills around collecting and analyzing data using observational tools.
- Demonstrate the use of three observational data collection tools consistent with TPEP.
- Model and analyze the skills of giving strategic feedback using the Language of Support to move the beginning teacher’s practice forward in relation to
