Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Articulate the purpose of coaching and explain the coaching cycle as it relates to mentoring a beginning teacher.
  • Develop a coaching plan for implementation in the classroom.
  • Demonstrate the skills around collecting and analyzing data using observational tools.
  • Demonstrate the use of three observational data collection tools consistent with TPEP.
