Large Ensemble (minimum) Credits: 12

Only the following are designated as Large Ensembles: MUS 267-467 (Choir), MUS 268-468 (Chamber Choir), MUS  266-466 (Wind Ensemble), MUS 277-477 (Orchestra), MUS 287-487 (Marching and Concert  Band-fall quarter only) and MUS 288-488 (Symphonic Band). Note: All ensemble courses have 200 level and 400 level numbers. The 200 level numbers are used by freshmen and sophomores, the 400 level numbers by juniors and seniors.

At least 4 credits of MUS 264 are required.

Students enrolled in the first-year theory sequence (MUS 144, 145, 146) must have passed or be currently enrolled in the corresponding Class piano course (MUS 154A). A waiver of this requirement can be obtained by demonstrating keyboard skills to any piano faculty member.
