Applied concepts, principles, and operation of fundamental GIS applications, including raster-vector data models, topology, digitizing, and various analytical techniques such as overlay, buffers, and Boolean queries. Lecture and practical applications.

Prerequisites & Notes:
Prerequisite, GEOG 303/403 or permission.
GEOL 404, ANTH 404 and GEOG 404 are equivalent courses. Students may not receive credit for more than one.
