Principles of acquisition, analysis, and use of remotely sensed data (LANDSAT, SPOT, Ikonos, etc.). Applied experience using image processing software.

Prerequisites, GEOG 410 or GEOL 210, or permission of instructor.

GRDNotes:
Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week. GEOL 430, GEOG 430 and GEOL 530 are equivalent courses. Students may not receive credit for more than one course.
