Description:
Concepts and methods of sociolinguistic analysis in first and second languages. Will examine differences among cultures in the relationship between language usage and inequality.

Prerequisites & Notes:
Prerequisite, ANTH/ENG 180 or 480, ANTH 381, or FNLA 481 or departmental approval.
