EDEC 415 - Child Language Acquisition


Description:
Language acquisition birth through eight years; aspects of phonological, grammatical, and semantic development in a natural language environment. Projects include transcription and grammatical analysis of a young child’s speech.

Prerequisites & Notes:
Prerequisite, a course in child or human development (e.g., EDEC/FCSF 331, or EDEC/FCSF 332, or PSY 314) or introductory linguistics (e.g., ANTH/ENG 180) or permission of instructor.
