BUAN 407 - Data Visualization and Management in Business


Description:
Analyze and present data with visual representations targeting relevant audiences; introduction to business data management using relational and non-relational databases. Create digital visualizations using various software packages.

Prerequisites:
Prerequisites: BUS 221 with a grade of C or higher and admission to business analytics specialization, minor, or certificate.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Develop and analyze digital data visualizations using appropriate software.
  • Identify data visualization techniques for various data requirements
  • Design and implement a real-world business database using a relational database management system
  • Develop an understanding of business database systems, design techniques and their common applications in the corporate world.
