DNCE 205 - Ballet Technique II Description: Continued training in classical ballet at the intermediate level, including barre and center work. Increased emphasis on beats multiple turns and jumps. By permission. May be repeated for 4 credits. Formerly PED 205, students may not receive credit for both. Course will be offered on even numbered years (Winter).
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: DNCE 204 or instructor permission.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Define Ballet II French terminology (both orally and in written format).
- Apply the principals of correct Ballet II technique.
- Demonstrate good body alignment and mechanics, and refine technical skills.
- Demonstrate performance quality center work.
