Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Analyze and evaluate primary texts relating to theatrical history from the Renaissance through Modernism periods
  • Analyze and evaluate current scholarship of theatrical history from the Renaissance through Modernism periods
  • Create and present a conference length paper reflecting a research topic relating to theatrical history from the Renaissance through Modernism periods
  • Lead seminar style discussions
