The administration of elementary, middle, junior high, and high schools. Covers common elements and those peculiar to specific levels.

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: one year of teaching experience.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Demonstrate comprehension of the difference between management and leadership of an organization
  • Demonstrate application of the challenges of leadership by identifying them and writing a plan to address these challenges
  • Demonstrate how leadership impacts school culture by analyzing questions concerning leadership
  • Demonstrate analysis of current research of best leadership practices by examining research of best practices by examining current research literature
