FIN 370 - Introductory Financial Management Description: An introduction to financial decision making. Topics include financial statement analysis, time value of money, risk and return, securities valuation, capital budgeting, cost of capital, and capital structure. Course will be offered every year (Fall, Winter, and Spring).
Prerequisites: Prerequisites: (ACCT 251 and BUS 221 and ECON 201 and admission to a College of Business Major; or admission to a College of Business Graduate Program); or (ACCT 301 and BUS 221 and ECON 201 and admission to the Bachelor of Science, Personal Financial Planning major); or (admission to an Actuarial Science major who has completed ACCT 251 and ECON 201 and MATH 172 and MATH 173 and BUS 221 or MATH 311 with grades no lower than a C (2.0). MATH 311 may be taken concurrently.
