RTE 419 - Applied Research and Evaluation


Description:
Basics of research design including problem identification, research and evaluation similarities and differences, sampling, survey development, methods and application, implementation, data analysis, and review of published research. Formerly FCS 419 and FSCG 419, students may not receive credit for both. Course will be offered every year (Winter and Spring).

  • Demonstrate how to select and apply appropriate research methods to generate data for industry specific evaluation and research.

  • Create a comprehensive research or evaluation proposal
  • Use technology to manage and analyze data
  • Identify, read, and interpret secondary research
